How it worked
I brought together ten people and gave each of them three dice. Each roll decided something about a notebook: its size, its colours and its pattern.
What I made
Ten notebooks, one for each set of rolls. The covers are made from 5 kg of plastic recycled from the university cafeteria. The project grew out of Precious Plastic, the open-source plastic recycling community.
Result
Every notebook sold, and one of them was bought by the LCC archive.
Why it matters to me
It's part of a thread that runs through my personal work: making new things from what others throw away.
